Coca-Cola is dropping its sponsorship of Fox's "American Idol" show after a partnership spanning 13 years, Variety reported Tuesday.
The move is the latest in a wider drop-off in sponsorship of the music competition show, which has suffered ratings declines.
Ad spending on the show shrank to $395 million this year from about $782 million on the show in 2012, Variety reported, citing Kantar data.
