Oops! Wrong Oculus shares skyrocket

Oops! Shares of Oculus VisionTech and Oculus Innovative Sciences skyrocketed after news of Facebook's $2 billion deal to buy the virtual reality firm Oculus VR, The Wall Street Journal reports.

These two companies are not related with Facebook's newest acquisition. It just happened that these companies had the word "Oculus" in them.

Shares of Oculus VisionTech, under ticker symbol OVTZ, rose 152 percent. Shares of Oculus Innovative Sciences, ticker symbol OCLS, rose as much as 15 percent, the Journal noted.
